W.I.S.E. 37 stands for Working to Institute a Sustainable Environment on the 37th Parallel. Originally formed by a small group of students for the purpose of bringing local organic food options to De Anza's cafeteria, W.I.S.E. 37 has formed into a larger environmental club and is now working on a variety of environmental issues on and off campus through education, outreach, and activism.
Club meetings are held every Wednesday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the Kirsch Center for Environmental Studies upstairs (in the SRC or in room KC 239.) Come to a meeting to check us out and bring your ideas and enthusiasm. New members are always welcome!
